Not unlike cemetery headstones tear sheets too are often found in the weedy undergrowth of the interweb without an owner’s name, date of publication, or any ornamentation that would otherwise distinguish them from fashion’s myriad graven images. Such is the case with Ford Men’s Max Motta‘s latest editorial in issue no. 20 of the Brazilian FFW Magazine photographed by Fabio Bartelt with styling by Paulo Martinez. The Made in Brazil blog has posted tear sheet scans of the story, but other blogs have posted what clearly appears to be pictures from the editorial without magazine copy. From our vantage point in the northern hemisphere it’s difficult to say what’s actually in the magazine and what isn’t — we don’t actually have the issue on hand. In any case the editorial presents the 6’1″ (185 cm) Brazilian in a stylized Gothic manner that would not at all be out of place on a Twilight fantsite were it to have at its disposal the talents of Bartelt, Martinez, and of course custom accessories designers Frank Dezeuxis and Clessi Cardoso (those angel wings don’t make themselves, y’know). So until we hold this issue of FFW in our hands, we’ll admire the digital artifacts thus far unearthed.
