Beauty How-To: Stress-Free Holiday Hair

THE EXPERT: Hairstylist Francky L’Official

THE CREDENTIALS: Born in France, Francky L’Official served as the artistic director of the famed Jacques Dessange salon in Paris. There, he oversaw the behind-the-scenes beauty of many fashion shows and honed his considerable tress prowess. In 2005, he relocated to New York, ultimately opening his own Madison Avenue salon. Now a regular on The Real Housewives of New York City, the hair maestro is part of the beauty establishment. L’Official’s latest venture is an exclusive line of luxury hair-care products, available at his salon and on HSN.

THE HOW-TO: Start by warming up your curling iron and dividing dry hair into four equal sections. Curl the first section around the barrel of the curling iron and hold for a few seconds. Wrap hair around your index and middle fingers and pin at the nape of the neck, making a low, loose bun. Repeat for each section. When all the hair is pinned, mist with a finishing spray and allow hair to cool for a few minutes. When the hair is cool, unclip each section and run your fingers gently through the curls. Rub a touch of argan oil into your palms and apply to your hair, concentrating on the ends, for a finishing sheen. Go forth and party.
