"Queen Bey channels the most beautiful bird of paradise in this stunning ombré feather and lace gown that leaves nothing to the imagination. The perfect dress for the #1 songbird in the world."
  • ChristinaR4
    Marcellas Reynolds
"The theme of the 2011 Met Gala was Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty, and though this dress was Zac Posen it totally captures the designer's dark, slightly dangerous aesthetic. "
  • Doutzen2
    Marcellas Reynolds
"Only a supermodel could wear this princess gown without being overwhelmed. With her perfect face, killer body and Grace Kelly-esque beauty, Doutzen brings this Zac Posen dress to life."
  • met-2011-franca-sozzani
    Annie Guercini
"Leave it to Vogue Italia editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani to get it right with this Valentino dress. Also love a woman from 1950 grazing the carpet with long beautiful waves untied."
  • EmmaS
    Annie Guercini
"I love the structured yet simple floral in black and white on this Lanvin dress. You turn your head twice but it's still subtle. The best statements are subtle."

"What dress can outshine Nicole Richie's silver hair? Perfect match. Love that Topshop made it to the Gala."
  • "PUNK: Chaos To Couture" Costume Institute Gala
    Laura Heintzelman
"I love the architecture of this dress. It shows off Mara's boyish figure in all the right ways."

"As much as it pains me to say this ( I hate all the attention Hathaway got for "playing" a fashion icon) I love this vintage Valentino. Got to hand it to her, (or her stylist) , it fits perfect and definitely deserves a nod."

"Sarah gets this all right in Giles Deacon. The print, the volume, the headpiece - absolutely love."
