Organize + organic + nice = organice. You may already be familiar with the term if you read Organice Your Life, model Lonneke Engel’s digital mag dedicated to health and happiness. Boasting a contributor’s list brimming with models, OYL recently added Kate Dillon (Ford+) to its roster, and for the magazine’s upcoming seventh issue, she represents the cover story. OYL is a natural fit for Dillon. A Harvard Kennedy School grad with a degree in international development, Dillon is best known as a plus-size model who’s found success in the mainstream fashion industry. Her forthrightness—she speaks candidly about struggling with anorexia as a modeling teen—and unapologetic embrace of her silhouette make her a compelling figure, while those curves render her a hard-to-resist model. In her interview with OYL, Dillon talks about all the way she organices her life, from Zumba dance classes to taking her newborn, Lucas, to the park. That grad-school degree we mentioned? Dillon’s putting it to good use as VP of the Komera Project, an organization she co-founded that works to provide secondary education to girls in Rwanda.
