Matthew Terry (Ford Men) debuted yesterday as the face of Calvin Klein Bold, the new underwear line for men, in its Spring 2012 campaign by photographer Steven Klein. The Pennsylvania native reunited with Klein for the campaign for the first time since his cover shoot with him for VMAN last summer. Terry also features alongside Lara Stone (IMG) in the Spring 2012 campaign for Calvin Klein Jeans by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. [WWD]
Jason Wu for Target Wednesday morning was given an airing on Today on NBC. The former Narciso Rodriguez intern not only previewed his diffusion line, but in the process introduced Today host Ann Curry to cinema of the French New Wave, the inspiration of his collection. Bravo, Jason, for gracefully bridging the high-low culture gap on morning TV. [Today]
Z Zegna Fall 2012 was given the Models.com MDX treatment following its strong showing Monday afternoon in Milan. The inaugural collection by recently appointed creative director Paul Surridge was met with favorable reviews, which no doubt benefited in no small part by a strong casting by Andrew Weir.
