Azzedine Alaïa‘s latest museum exhibition, “Azzedine Alaïa in the 21st Century,” opens Sunday at the Groninger Museum in the Netherlands. As the title suggest, the exhibition examines the master’s work of the previous decade and in many ways serves as an addendum to a massive retrospective held at the Groninger Museum in 1997-1998. Diplo will play a free show in New York next Thursday, December 15th at the Eyebeam Art + Technology Center at 540 West 21 Street in Manhattan. Headlining the bill are Smoke and Mirrors. Diplo will also tour the Sunshine State in February playing eight dates with Sleigh Bells. [Brooklyn Vegan]
