Today is my last day working at Ford Models and this is my final post on the Ford Models Blog as its news editor. I began working at Ford nearly a dozen years ago at the same time I started graduate school at New York University. My beginnings in the fashion world were inauspicious to say the very least (I scanned model portfolios in those days), but have gathered considerable pace in recent years. I leave a body of work that makes me proud whether it was producing 40 videos on the trot during the Fall 2012 runway season in New York, Milan, and Paris, tweeting over 20 thousand times, or having the temerity to conduct Q&A’s with musicians. I count myself very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work for the company that gave birth to the modern modeling agency as we know it when it was founded in 1946 by Eileen and Jerry Ford. Thank you, Ford Models, and thank you for reading this. – Damien Neva
