Last month the good people at Marc Jacobs invited this page to attend one of the many photo shoots they produce throughout the year. With their F/W 2011 campaign by Juergen Teller done and dusted there was little chance of meeting Johnny Depp‘s better (zanier? — News Ed.) half, which is just as well, some rabbit holes are best avoided. Jokes aside, the photo shoot at Milk Studios was in fact for the Web and featured Ford Men’s Aiden Andrews modeling dozens of ensemble permutations from the Marc Jacobs Collection Mens S/S 2012 line. The session was essentially a like-for-like counterpart to the Marc by Marc Jacobs Mens Resort 2012 Web shoot in June featuring Ford Men Direct’s Troy Cannata. On the day, Aiden was ever the professional not least for even having been in town and ready to work during much of the fashion industry’s de facto holiday month. Aiden is of course in town and ready for the looming Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week S/S 2012. If Milan and Paris are any indicators of his runway pedigree — he walked for fifteen designers amongst others including Yves Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, Dior Homme, Prada, Alexander McQueen, and Jil Sander — then expect to see a lot of Aiden Andrews.
