So far as SEO rankings are concerned a story titled “Motel del Rey” is likely to have Google algorithms trilling, but for reasons unconnected to correct vocal pitch. Turns out that the guest residing at “Motel del Rey” in Numéro 131 mars 2012 is none other than Catherine McNeil (Ford). Photographed by Gregory Harris, the black and white editorial pictures the Diesel Spring 2012 campaign model in a housing subdivision with unkempt lawns and cracked pavement. The Sheila Single-styled luster is of course reserved for Catherine (Slide 1) who stands before a garage door, shoulder cocked, wearing a silk jacket laminated foam, crêpe silk top, silk shorts and belt, all by Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière. To the right (Slide 2), Catherine sits on a curb, left arm on thigh, wearing a top and pants printed on washed jacquard and rhinestones by Lanvin. Turn the page (Slide 4) and the story realizes its poolside potential with Catherine wearing a body corset by Dolce & Gabbana that is embroidered with Swarovski crystals. Checking out by 11 AM is always an option, but so long as Catherine McNeil is a guest, there is no reason to leave any time soon.
