Maryna Linchuk (Ford) features in Vogue Japan 2012 in an editorial photographed by Pierpaolo Ferrari with styling by Giovanna Battaglia. Aptly titled “The Party Begins at Sunrise,” the 12-page story bursts over the eastern horizon with prints gleaming with florals, geometries, and in between plenty else. The story begins (Slide 1) brightly enough with Maryna reclining atop a Fendi suitcase, dramatically shielding herself from the sun with a gloved hand, and wearing a Louis Vuitton floral dress. The opening spread looks staid in comparison to the exuberant portait that follows (Slide 2) wherein Maryna makes sweet, sweet lemonade wearing, what else, but Dolce & Gabbana. The maximalist spring story carries on in much the same fashion and in Maryna Linchuk has a model to take the party from dawn to dusk.
