Interview November 2011 is more than a touch infatuated with teenagers — the cover story is an interview of 14-year-old Chloë Moretz by former child star Drew Barrymore. Also in the issue, photographer Gregory Harris surveys the de facto class of 2011, a precocious crop of teen and twentysomething actors, musicians, and the like. Thankfully Interview‘s preoccupation with relative youth is not limited to celebrity, but extends to fashion, specifically modeling. Ondria Hardin (Ford) burst onto the scene this season with her Prada Fall 2011 campaign by Steven Meisel and takes a turn for the editorial with a story by photographer Mikael Jansson and stylist Karl Templer. The story reviews the work of designer Massimiliano Giornetti for Salvatore Ferragamo, which comes to life worn by the Selma, North Carolina native. If Ondria’s look rings familiar, then it is because it also featured on the Spring 2012 runway by none other than Sigrid Agren (Ford). The seahorse pendant worn by Ondria, however is an editorial embellishment not seen on the runway. Interview was not wrong with its thesis, teen culture is on the rise and especially so with Ondria Hardin.
