Kristina Konarski began her interest in the nail care business in the late 1990’s, owning an exclusive spa in Miami Beach. In 2000, she moved to New York and decided to focus on nail care exclusively.

Kristina is very playful and poignant with colors, which she custom mixes often on the spot. She is of Czechoslovakian descent from a famous painter. Surrounded by her mother’s artist and poet friends, Kristina’s love for painting and color was imprinted from a very early age.

She has worked on advertising campaigns and editorial for top fashion photographers from Mario Sorrenti to Terry Richardson. Her work can be seen regularly in W, American, French and Italian Vogue, Vogue Nippon and V Magazine. Additionally, Konarski has worked with many celebrities from Madonna to Anne Hathaway and top models such as Miranda Kerr and Karolina Kurkova.

Kristina is passionate for creating fun and unique manicures wanting girls to experiment with colors, shapes and styles especially with spring and summer around the corner. “You can do a little design,” she says, “or choose bright and bold colors so you’re all sassy for the summer!”

We brought in four Ford models, an enormous selection of Zoya nail polishes and had Kristina show just how fun you can have with a good manicure. Each Monday on the Ford Models Facebook page, we will feature one of these manicures including a tip from Kristina. Mani Monday starts today!
