Das Racist Answers Ford Models Questions

The other month Brooklyn rap trio of emcees Himanshu Suri (aka Heems) and Victor Vazquez and hypeman Ashok Kondabolu otherwise known as Das Racist visited the agency to answer some difficult questions, ten of them in fact, for the Ford Models Blog about music, fashion, and Ronnie James Dio amongst others. Over the course of the questioning Heems with his ever keen eye for an audience even revealed a genuine (wink, wink) interest in Trovata, Burberry Prorsum, Lanvin, and the sneaker styling of Kris van Assche. Victor snapped his fingers a lot. Ashok even managed to lose his U.S. passport application in our office. It was confusing. Also at some point during the interview their friend Lex wandered into the room. Oh yeah, Lex

Das Racist have a mixtape they released in spring 2010 called Shut Up, Dude, which features such bangers as “Rainbow in the Dark,” “Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell,” and “Shorty Said,” and are said to have finished work on a new mixtape that will be put out by our suit-wearing friend Diplo through his Mad Decent record label. Like Marmite, you’re either going to love or hate Das Racist or be just plain confused as to why anyone would ever eat yeast extract spread over buttered bread. Yup, us neither. Then again, there is something bizarrely appetizing about Marmite and Das Racist are no different. Any rap group that can hold the attention of both Diplo and El-P like Das Racist have is probably also worthy of yours.

In any case, find out how Das Racist answers Ford Models questions by watching below the short video. Also be sure to download for free the 64 minute mixtape, Shut Up, Dude and keep an eye out for that new mixtape of theirs.
