The third time anything is mentioned you’re unlikely to forget what was said. Maybe it’s an idea, a musical phrase, or even an image, but regardless which that third time it will stay with you. In the last month I’ve come across Belgian model Delfine Bafort no fewer than three times and am unable to not mention her on the Ford Models Blog.
First there was her May 2010 Dazed & Confused editorial by photographer Mel Bles with fashion editing and styling by Karen Langley, makeup by Lisa Houghton, and hair styling by Rudi Lewis. Secondly, there was the below casting video I shot of Delfine, which I am told landed her a very lucrative booking. Finally, MDC the other day posted Delfine’s latest editorial from the July 2010 issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK by photographer Laura Bartley with fashion editing and styling by Mattias Karlsson, makeup by Karou Okubo, and hair styling by Tony Chavez.
Two editorials plus one casting video equals three times, the confluence of which makes this Ford Models Blog entry inevitable. Under normal circumstances I wouldn’t just post a casting video, but given her somewhat resurgence in editorials I felt it only appropriate. Years ago Delfine was on Ford’s high board and has since moved divisions to Ford Direct. I am thrilled to see these new editorials of hers and look forward to more because after three times Delfine is simply unforgettable.

nice…wished she would have spoken more about her modeling experience or else
syssi,
Yes, it would have been nice, but when I shot this video of Delfine it was for an entirely different purpose — it was a casting video! Next time I will ask her questions about her career.
