The idea of posting an editorial story on the second day of New York Fashion Week S/S 11 may well be the first stress cracks in the hull of this modest vessel I call the Ford Models Blog. Given the number of shows that have been posted on this page since yesterday, ten, surely there can be little more purpose to such a gambit than vanity or, more likely, madness. Nevertheless Julia’s story from Numéro 120 by photographer Greg Kadel and stylist Patti Wilson is worth a look. Titled “Labyrinthe” the editorial positions the Swiss model at the focal point of intersecting reflective planes, which quite literally amplifies the colorful looks. Were it not for Fashion Week this editorial might have been the last word on Julia Saner, but seeing as how she walked for Jason Wu today and is expected to walk more tomorrow and the next, etc and so on.
