Valentino’s exclusive couture collection and first showing in New York, featuring Ford Image’s Lexi and Zuzu, took place on an austere runway in the now vacant Whitney Museum space. Inspired by the designer’s 1968 white collection, the two models walked in head-to-toe white looks that had subtle nods to pop art and mod culture. All in all, the show, and the faces in it, felt just as iconic as the city itself.
After walking for the brand’s S/S 2015 runway, Ford Men’s Conrad Bromfield returns in Michael Kors’ newest holiday campaign. Shot by Mario Testino, the ads depict the Kors clan in various states of revelry inside and undisclosed hotspot. This is a holiday party we wouldn’t mind attending.
Ford Image’s Hailey shows off her dance moves in a special video for the ninth day of Love Magazine’s Advent calendar. Shot by Daniel Jackson and styled by Julie Von Boehm, the rising model records the ultimate video selfie in an old hotel room. This is a great way to ring in the holidays.
Men’s fashion in Japan has long had an Americana bent, and nothing illustrates this more than Ryan Heavyside & Luke Thorp’s new editorial for GQ Japan. Shot by Arnaldo Anaya Lucca and styled by Grant Pearce and Jacky Tam, the 2 models embrace surf culture in home grown brands from the United States. Shot on location in Montauk, the final result is a kind of hyper-saturated Americana that looks all kinds of good on these born & bred Americans.
New addition to the Ford Direct Roster Heidi Harrington-Johnson dangles above the Manhattan skyline in the newest campaign for Gloria Vanderbilt perfume. Shot by Mary Rozzi and styled by Karen Langley, the model channels the stars of the silver screen with the Chrysler building serving as backdrop. This one would give Grace Kelly a run for her money.
After styling for names like Burberry and Nautica, Ford Artists’ Michael Fusco brings his sartorial prowess to rising menswear brand Peter Millar. Perfectly capturing the line’s Southern ethos, Fusco mixes workwear and formal elements to portray life in the Southeast. It’s a collection of images that will make you want to spend a weekend amongst the spanish moss.
Ford LA’s Dallas Hernandez stars in a windswept editorial for the latest issue of Schön Magazine. Styled by Jimi Urquiaga and photographed by John Kley, the fiery-haired model whirls across the 8 page spread in pieces by Marni, Hermes and Versace. This is a force to be reckoned with.
It’s not often that we’re able to present 2 debuts at once here at Ford. In what appears to be a situational anomaly, we are proud to announce our representation of Ben Skinner with his debut as one of 4 men covering the first issue of At Large Magazine. Founded by Randall Mesdon with the intention of setting a new standard for contemporary publishing, the Ben Weller–photographed and Julie Ragolia–styled cover story captures the surfer hitting the waves in his natural element. Judging by volume 1, this is the first of many times you’ll see this face (and magazine) here on the blog.
Ford Image’s Yulia embodies fashion’s current obsession with the past in a brand new spread for Wonderland Magazine. Shot by Liam Warwick and styled by Danielle Emerson, the model sports pieces by Prada, Louis Vuitton and Marques Almeida. The concept may be historically rooted, but the outcome is anything but dated.
Ford Men’s Evandro Soldati puts on his birthday suit in a special black and white portrait series for Fashion for Men. Shot by Milan Vukmirovic and styled by Scarlett Viquel, Evandro puts his physique to good use across the spread. It may induce blushing, but we’d venture to bet you can’t look away.
