London Fashion Week may be the shortest one of all, but that doesn’t mean that Ford girls were any less busy on the runway. Whether it was Ashleigh Good walking exclusively for Burberry, Erin O’Connor making her return to the London catwalk or Yulia continuing to serve as muse to all-star designer J.W. Anderson, these girls were on a roll.
Ford Men’s Ryan Tift joins Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing in a night of debauchery for the newest issue of Tetu Magazine. Shot by longtime Balmain collaborator and industry icon Mariano Vivanco and styled by Rousteing himself, the 12-page spread sees Ryan wearing exclusively Balmain alongside some of the brightest talents in the industry today. With looks like these and a burgeoning resume working with some of the biggest names in the business, it’s easy to see why this guy is one of fashion’s fastest rising stars. Keep an eye out for this one – you’ll be seeing a lot more of him.
Roos of Ford Paris stars in a darkly romantic editorial for the newest issue of Love Magazine. Shot by Mario Sorrenti with styling by Panos Yiapanis, the story sees the young talent clad exclusively in Comme Des Garçons spring collection. It takes quite a girl to pull of Rei Kawakubo’s designs, and this one does it with ease.
Ford Image’s Emily Ratajkowski has taken Vogue behind the scenes of Art Basel, and now she’s contributed a special photo diary of her night out in L.A. for Tom Ford’s F/W 2015 show. From picking the perfect outfit to sitting front row on the star-studded runway, it’s a depiction of a night just as glamorous as the model herself. Click through the slideshow below for some of our favorite moments, and for the full story visit Vogue.com.
Tom Ford has always been a designer who does what he wants, so it came as no surprise when he chose to divert the fashion crowd to the West Coast by showing his F/W 2015 collection in Los Angeles. The show saw Ford Image’s Lexi & Ashleigh on the runway with Ford Image’s Emily Ratajkowski sitting front row, all three girls clad in the designer’s slightly bohemian collection. If this is the L.A. girl of 2015, we’ll gladly take it.
As if opening Marc Jacobs’ Fall/Winter 2015 runway wasn’t enough of a return to the world of fashion, Ford Image’s Erin O’Connor also covers Hunger Magazine’s newest issue. Shot by longtime friend and collaborator Rankin, the model carries an astounding 25-page collections story in the magazine. More to come from inside the issue soon, and judging by the cover it’s not going to disappoint.
Ford Image’s Erin O’Connor made a triumphant return to the New York runway today by opening Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2015. The model teamed up with the designer and stylist Katie Grand for the show, which also saw her reuniting with hairdresser Guido Palau and make-up artist Francois Nars in preparation. Erin, who has worked with some of fashion’s greatest names since she was discovered in 1996, led a catwalk that included the biggest models in the business – cementing her place as an industry icon. With 3 fashion weeks left, we’d venture to say this is only the tip of the iceberg.
