Jill Stuart’s Spring collection was all about a subdued and dainty color palette—think candy pastels. Mint green, bumble-gum pink, and tart orange appeared on structured tops and sheath dresses. Even chunky-heel Mary Janes, occasionally accented with gold metallic, were soft-hued. Patterns were introduced through use of feminine imagery like birds and flowers, reminiscent of easy ’70s style, also suggested by high necklines and drop waists. (Photos: Via Vogue.co.uk)
