A few of our favorite things from New York Fashion Week today:

1. Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez’s Asian-twist collection at Proenza Schouler. The entire show was typically brilliant, but I’m zeroing in here on the jaw-droppingly intricate woven-leather pieces.

2. Prabal Gurung’s new contemporary line, ICB. This, his first, collection matched soft with hard: fluttery chiffon graphic-print skirts and dégradé lace pieces paired with fur-trimmed motorcycle jackets and razor thin trousers. It’s all wearable enough to spell ka-ching come September.

3. The simply-cut dresses at Victoria, Victoria Beckham. One part school girl to three parts sophisticated lady, this versatile frock strikes a nice chord for nearly any occasion.
