“Escapism” | David Gandy in a Jaguar Short Film

It’s a known fact that Ford’s David Gandy has an infinite love for sports cars, so it should come as no surprise that he teamed up with Jaguar to create a short film titled “Escapism”, celebrating the newly added F-TYPE convertible to the Jaguar family.

The British supermodel has gushed many a times about what automobile he’s housing in his garage, has shown up at events behind the wheel of gorgeous vintage rides, was part of the Jaguar Heritage Racing team at the Mille Miglia, and at one point served as a British GQ.com ‘car correspondent’ where he wrote a column about the looks, stats, drive and other pertinent information one should have on a sports car (though he never did mention how to look so darn good whilst driving one of these said vehicles).

So truly, this short film is about Gandy’s passion; a passion he describes as the ultimate escapism. In the film, he takes us on a joy ride as he (and we for 2 minutes 16 seconds) escapes the hectic city life.

“Jaguar, with its unique, seductive design and high performance engineering is making the world fall in love all over again with the classic British two-seater sports car,” commented Gandy for Jaguar’s “Newsroom”. We have to admit, after watching Gandy in this film, we agree. Now we just have to find a way for him to take us on a ride.
