The sophomore album Audio, Video, Disco by French rockers Justice is set for release Tuesday, October 25th. As a follow-up to the Grammy-nominated † (2007), Audio, Video, Disco takes a decidedly prog rock approach to the musical arrangements. Nerdy as the prog rock label sounds, though the album is anything but. Its movements are as bold and sweeping as the cosmic, End of Days imagery suggested by the “Civilization” music video directed by Edouard Salier. I had a chance to speak with Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé at the Atlantic Records office earlier this week about the new record, its influences, the films of John Carpenter, whether they prefer Slayer or Metallica, and much more.
Credits include: Video, Damien Neva; Translation, Clément Tuffreau; Music, Justice; Merci à Biz3, Clément Tuffreau.
